SEASON 6 UPDATES                

 

Filming is set to be started for Season 6 on May 04th. Currently they're finishing the final

parts of the script, and preparing filming locations.  According to Times-Herald.com, Mike

Riley (the location manager for Stalwart Films) appeared before the Senoia City Council on

Monday night.  His request was for the “intermittent closures of Gin Street through the

summer, and two temporarily parking lots near downtown”. This is in addition to the section

of town where the Alexandria scenes are filmed.

Another place spotted with a "DO NOT MOW" sign on the lawn in Senoia,

Georgia on Gordon Road, between Luther Bailey Rd. and East side school Rd.

The signs last about 2-3 mile stretch of Gordon Road, a rural road with

few houses on itThe phone number on the sign is for the location department

for Stalwart Films, the same group that works with The Walking Dead. 

 

As we know The Wolves will have a big part in Season 6, from the build up in Season 5 (since 509). However two new cast have been announced, Delvin, a "twenty-something African-American cynic who is left so dumbfounded by displays of stupidity that it's nearly impossible for him to admit that he thinks, down deep, people are, or at least can be decent. Even if they're idiots."

The other character is named Tucker, a "hard worker tough guy who values fairness."

Neither character's name is taken from the comic books. But it's likely they're both members of the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

Delvin's character description is similar to that of comic book character Heath, a member of the community who goes on supply runs.

Tucker has been rumored to being Paul (Jesus) Monroe, but this seems unlikely. However if Tucker is Monroe it would bring the Hilltop Colony (a major plot point) into play sooner, rather than later.
